It's a good idea to check with local bylaws and codes when it comes to placing a park model, and check if you can indeed live in it permanently. Park model home owners will also have to check in with the park they want to set their home up in as there are different requirements for every area. Some park models can only be of a certain size or color, and sometimes additions like an enclosed porch are not prohibited. Overall, park models are a fabulous choice for affordable housing.
